Ken Curley


The Chief Executive Officer for C-VETS is Ken Curley.

Ken Curley is a leader with a track record of success.  Upon graduation from the United States Military Academy, he served over 20 years in the United States Army with assignments throughout the world as an Airborne Ranger Infantry Officer. During his tour with the 24th Infantry Division, Ken was selected and served as the Aide de Camp to then Major General H. Norman Schwarzkopf.   Ken spent the balance of his service as a leader in Command and Staff assignments throughout Infantry Divisions and in the Special Operations Community with the 75th Ranger Regiment.   

Upon retirement in 1998, he was selected to serve within New York State government as the Director of Military Support and then Chief of Staff within the Division of Military and Naval Affairs, responsible for the management of a $450 million operating budget including Emergency Response Operations, Community Support Programs, Youth Programs, the Counter Drug Effort and the Y2K Response / Mitigation Programs.

 In 2000, Ken entered the private sector as the founder of Raymond Associates LLC, an executive leadership and management organization specializing in security and operations management with offices in Saratoga County and in New York City.  While working in Manhattan, he was asked to participate in the historic 2000 Presidential Florida Recount on behalf of the Bush/Cheney 2000 Team.

In 2001, Ken continued the growth of Raymond Associates LLC, and also provided leadership and management support, serving as the interim Chief Operating Officer for David Lawrence Associates and Advanced Consultancy Group International, two successful Information Technology career placement companies, headquartered in Manhattan until the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack.

In 2002, Ken expanded his speaking engagements and executive consulting opportunities.  He worked with the leadership of Eye Catcher North East, a dynamic advertising company, located in Clifton Park, New York, focusing on the operational aspects of display advertising and sales in the Tri-State area market.
In 2003, Ken capitalized on his military service expertise and worked as a Senior Observer Controller for MPRI a division of L3 Communications on contract opportunities in Europe, focusing on training activities with the Department of Defense personnel in support of US National Policy Interests in the region.

In April of 2003, Ken transitioned to the Country of Iraq, as the Deputy Director of Requirements Coordination in Baghdad as part of the Coalition Provisional Authority during Operation Iraqi Freedom, in support of US National Policy interest in the region.
In January of 2004, Ken was selected as Chief of Staff Special Projects to the Coalition Provisional Authority, with primary focus and responsibility of providing executive support to the United Nations Mission Iraq and the International Electoral Mission in Iraq and other directed special projects.

 In July 2004 upon the transfer of Iraqi sovereignty, Ken’s company, Raymond
Associates was awarded the Close Security Protection Contract in Iraq for the protection of our US Army General Officers in support of training the Iraqi Army and Police Force of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense as well as the Department of Defense Contract for the Plan, Design, and Build Contract of the Logistics Movement Coordination Center in Baghdad.
Raymond Associates continued to execute without incident the Department of Defense Security Contract for the Multi-National Security Transition Command Iraqi providing Close Protection for the General Officers in support of the US National Policy Objectives in the region closing out a most successful contract in August 2007.   

In 2005, Ken’s company supported the Emergency Response Efforts in the after math of Hurricane Katrina and Rita as part of the leadership of a Joint Venture company, Advanced Tactical Services (ATS), with offices in Florida, New York and Washington DC.
 In July 2005, Ken partnered with Affinity Group Consultants, a dynamic advertising and marketing company with over 20 successful years in the industry with clientele in both the private and public sector.  The company currently has the display media marketing rights for the Ferry Terminals in the New York-New Jersey area of operations.

In 2007, Ken partnered with a uniquely successful US Army General Officer and formed Eagle Crest LLC, an executive leadership and management consulting company with a particular focus on Irregular Warfare in the 21st Century.    

To date, Ken has maintained his private sector status and has expanded his business development goals and operations into the national and international community with a focus on executive leadership, providing tailored solutions for engaged leaders and the organizations they lead.

Ken is also President and CEO of Alexandra Group1, LLC a real estate investment and holding company with properties in New York, North Carolina, Virginia and Florida.
 Ken has received various Military, Federal, State, Civic and Athletic Awards.  Ken is a Life Time Member of the 75th Ranger Regiment Association and the Military Officers Association of America.  He has been enshrined in the American Legions Roll of Honor and has been recognized by the National Commander for Appreciation of Service as Certified Disabled American Veteran.

Ken is a graduate of Armed Forces Staff College, Norfolk, Virginia and Catholic University of America, Washington DC with a Master of Arts degree in Psychology, concentrating on the unique aspects of Leadership and Organizational Behavior.  

Ken is on the Board of Directors for NetTalon, an innovative and world class provider in the Fire and Security Systems business with a superior Emergency Management Monitoring and Response System which has established a new paradigm for incident management capabilities.

Ken also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hydrogen Technology Applications (HTA), Inc, the leading researcher and developer of clean and efficient alternate fuel sources in the world.  HTA’s Trademark and Patented Aquygen Gas is changing the energy dynamics for the 21st Century consumer. 

Ken continues to be a requested guest speaker for a variety of organizations discussing the organizational elements of teamwork, relating his leadership experiences across the spectrum of family life, athletics, military service, government service and the private sector.

Ken and his wife Toni-Ann of twenty three years have four children and currently reside in Saratoga County, New York.
